At a high level Week 10 does not look too promising. But, these are the type of weeks that bring some of the most exciting days when you're not expecting it. The slate includes 6 Top10 teams on the road with some of them as just touchdown or fewer favorites.

Even though the spread is 2 touchdowns, Ohio State will have to travel into Happy Valley and pass their largest test of the season. Outside of Notre Dame (which was just an 11 point game), Ohio State has yet to play another high(er) caliber opponent. Finnelytics has Ohio State winning by 14.

The other Top10 team on the road in this slate is the undefeated TCU Horned Frogs. They travel to West Virginia as 7.5-point favorites. West Virginia is a much tougher team at home and normally has an excellent atmosphere and TCU has been fighting off upsets the past few weeks.

Outside of the larger implication games, there are a few games that should still be great games. Notre Dame/Syracuse, Oklahoma/Iowa State, and Arkansas/Auburn are all 3.5-point spread games or less.

The middle slate could be rather lackluster if Florida can't hang around with the Dawgs. Oklahoma State/Kansas State and Cincinnati/UCF should both be exciting, close games and have heavy implications for those teams involved. But, let's be real the game that can carry this slate into stardom is Florida giving Georgia a test. The Dawgs are 22.5-point favorites but everyone outside of Georgia fans are hoping that week 1 Anthony Richardson shows up and gives the Bulldogs a scare on Halloween weekend.

The middle slate also features one of 2022's surprise teams with Illinois traveling to Nebraska. Illinois currently stands alone atop the Big10 West making every conference game a pivotal game for the Illini the rest of the year.

The primetime slate includes probably the biggest game of the day. With the big tilt against Georgia next week, Tennessee will look to avoid a look-ahead spot this week as Kentucky rolls into town. Will Levis will have another primetime opportunity to prove he is worthy of his Top10 draft stock and Hendon Hooker gets another opportunity to bolster his Heisman case.

North Carolina sits atop the ACC Coastal by 2 games so this game is not as important for UNC as it could have been. UNC is still just a field goal favorite against Pitt at home.

Lastly, Michigan will look to get revenge for last year's upset loss to crosstown rival Michigan State.
